October 2005 tour.

We had 6 vehicles on our October Massif tour. A very varied mix of vehicles. An Isuzu Trooper, 2 modified Jeep Cherokees, a modified Jeep Wrangler, a very modified Suzuki Vitara, and a Discovery TD5.

Derek and his son Rob had been on one of our Northern Tours in Derek's Cherokee and this time they came with their partners and a grandson, and each brought their own Jeep. Their friend Martin and his partner and 3 year old son came along in their Suzuki.

Bob, who had also been on a Northern tour came with his partner in his Wrangler.

Rob and his partner came in the first Isuzu Trooper we have ever had on one of our tours.

After all settling in we met for an excellent meal and got to know each other.

The next morning it was off for a day on the outstanding lanes of the area.

As you will see from the photos of the Discovery, we can supply plastic film to protect the paintwork from bramble scratchs.

October is a wonderful time to come to the Massif central, with the Autumn colours and the beautiful views.

Every corner brings another view of the spectacular landscape, the little villages, the deep valleys, and the wooded hillsides.

Every one had a great time, with superb lanes, beautiful scenery, wonderful meals and good company, and all are making plans to return next year.

In Spring the lanes are wet and muddy, with the chance of some snow, in summer it is quite hot and sunny, and in Autumn ther are the beautiful Autumn colours.
