Easter Tour 2010

It hardly seems Christmas was over before Easter was upon us, and it wasn't much warmer either, with an icy wind and driving rain. Not too good for the picnics, but it made for a fair bit of mud and some nice slippery tracks.
We had Phil; and Emma with their 90 back again, and Andy and his Dad Bob in his Jimny, and both brought friends, John and Enda in their TD5 90 came with Phil and Emma, and Andy brought two friends, Dave and Steve, in their Jimny.
There was a hitch at the start when Sea France went on strike just as they arrived at the docks. Thirty minutes of frantic online booking and we had them all booked on alternative ferries and the tunnel.
As they were on two different ferries and the shuttle, they all arrived at different times for dinner, and it was after midnight when we finished the meal and they all went back to the hotel.
The next morning we had a latish start and drove off into the icy rain for a day on the lanes.
We all enjoyed two days of interesting laning with some nice muddy sections and some lively meals in the evenings, before on Monday morning they all went off back to the UK.
